Client Account Manager

OARS is hiring a Client Account Manager to join our team in Houston, TX. This position is full-time and primarily working in our headquarter office, with a hybrid work schedule that allows working remotely on occasion.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team that oversees Survey Personnel temporary staffing requirements
  • Liaise with clients to fill survey staffing vacancies in a timely manner with high quality staff
  • Maintain strong client, subcontractor, and employee relationships
  • Work with the management team for subcontractor recruitment and screening
  • Work closely with Operations Support Assistants to ensure that personnel documentation (CVs, HSE, Certifications) and availability tracking of subcontractor and employee staff are up to date
  • Work closely and coordinate with the accounting team to ensure correct invoicing (payables and receivables)
  • Work closely and coordinate with the accounting team to ensure timely and correct payment from clients

  • Ensure that survey personnel projects are compliant with internal policies, customer policies and external regulations
  • Attend industry functions (conferences, trade shows, society meetings, etc.), and give presentations when required

  • Perform other duties as required by the management team

Qualifications

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in offshore survey industry (5+ years preferred)
  • Previous Project Management or Client Account Management experience preferred
  • Strong administrative & reporting skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Projects
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills for dealing with clients and other stakeholders
  • Travel requirements for training, client meetings, and projects. Less than 10% of the time
  • Possess the ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel
  • Valid drivers license with acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Able to work on strict timelines and deadlines
  • Excellent writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills
