OARS is hiring a Client Account Manager to join our team in Houston, TX. This position is full-time and primarily working in our headquarter office, with a hybrid work schedule that allows working remotely on occasion.
Responsibilities
Work with a team that oversees Survey Personnel temporary staffing requirements
Liaise with clients to fill survey staffing vacancies in a timely manner with high quality staff
Maintain strong client, subcontractor, and employee relationships
Work with the management team for subcontractor recruitment and screening
Work closely with Operations Support Assistants to ensure that personnel documentation (CVs, HSE, Certifications) and availability tracking of subcontractor and employee staff are up to date
Work closely and coordinate with the accounting team to ensure correct invoicing (payables and receivables)
Work closely and coordinate with the accounting team to ensure timely and correct payment from clients
Work closely and coordinate with the accounting team to ensure timely and correct payment to subcontractors and employees
Ensure that survey personnel projects are compliant with internal policies, customer policies and external regulations
Attend industry functions (conferences, trade shows, society meetings, etc.), and give presentations when required

Perform other duties as required by the management team
Qualifications
Legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in offshore survey industry (5+ years preferred)
Previous Project Management or Client Account Management experience preferred
Strong administrative & reporting skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Projects
Effective communication and negotiation skills for dealing with clients and other stakeholders
Travel requirements for training, client meetings, and projects. Less than 10% of the time
Possess the ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel
Valid drivers license with acceptable motor vehicle record
Able to work on strict timelines and deadlines
Excellent writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills
